Buy: https://dealectric.com/go/aurzen-travelplay-autocinema-tesla-model-y · code CJ10: $119.99 → $108 · Aurzen cart test passed 2026-10-31 · affiliate link
A clip-in screen-and-sunshade for the 2025–2026 Model Y: both panels line the glass roof for lie-back movies, or one panel stands at the front console for the back seat or in the open liftgate, as a 47-inch screen for a portable projector while parked.
A 47-inch movie screen for the parked 2025–26 Model Y: $108 with code CJ10, last passed in Aurzen's cart 2026-10-31
- A 46.6-inch picture fits the rear panel, about 34 times the area of the Model Y's 8-inch rear screen (our arithmetic, 16:9; the full size needs tailgate mode or a roof-mounted projector).
- $108 with code CJ10, about what Tesla charges for its glass-roof sunshade alone ($105 on 2026-10-28), and this one is also a movie screen.
- A two-hour movie with Camp Mode on uses about 2–3% of a Long Range battery in mild weather (our estimate from owner and press measurements; about 5% near freezing).
Code: CJ10 — 10% off; not combinable with Aurzen's automatic sale prices. Expires 2027-01-30.

Pick it if
- You have a 2025–2026 Model Y with the see-through glass roof (Premium, Performance).
- You watch parked, after dark: campsites, long charging stops, tailgates.
- You'd buy a roof shade anyway: the silver side faces the glass.
- You own or will buy a ZIP-class projector that focuses at about 1 m.
Skip it if
- The kids watch while you drive. Aurzen says parked only. Use the Model Y's built-in 8-inch rear screen (Premium, Performance, Y L; Bluetooth headphones) or a tablet on a headrest mount (about $95 with a Fire HD 8 Kids and TESERY's $19.99 mount).
- You drive a Model Y Standard, a Model Y L or a Model 3: Aurzen doesn't list them. On a 2020–2024 Model Y only roof mode works (2022–2024 per Aurzen's Spanish manual).
- You want daytime viewing: no battery projector beats a sunny cabin.
- You only want shade: a Juniper roof sunshade costs $49.99 (Basenor) to $105 (Tesla).
- You only want outdoor tailgate movies: Aurzen's 120-inch portable screen ($24.99) gives a far bigger picture.
- It's new: on sale since 2026-08-17, with no owner reviews on aurzen.com as of 2026-10-28.
Warranty: 1 year; excludes damage from storing it in extreme temperatures. Specifications
| Screens | 47" front + 50" rear (Aurzen's labels); 1,098 × 590 mm and 1,031 × 685 mm, detachable; largest 16:9 picture about 47 inches |
|---|---|
| Fits | Model Y 2025–2026 (Juniper) with the glass roof; 2020–2024 in roof mode only, rear panel does not fully cover (Aurzen's Spanish manual says 2022–2024 for roof mode); not listed for the Model Y Standard (covered roof), Model Y L or Model 3 |
| Power | None; a passive fabric projector screen that doubles as a roof sunshade |
| Modes | Sky-roof: both panels clip into the glass roof's rim, projector on the floor aimed up, seats folded. Rear-seat: the rear panel clips to the front center armrest facing back, both front seats slid fully forward, projector on Aurzen's MagPlay roof mount or the rear armrest. Tailgate: the rear panel in the open liftgate, watched from outside |
| Install | Tool-free clips into the roof's inner rim; no drilling |
| Source | A portable projector, not included. Aurzen's ZIP and ZIP Pro fill the panel in rear-seat mode from the roof mount; in roof mode they make roughly a 21–34 inch picture (our estimate). Larger 1.2:1 projectors can't focus that close inside the car; any projector works for tailgate mode |
| Weight | 1 kg; folds into a carry bag |
Model: TravelPlay AutoCinema. Figures are from the manufacturer's official product page unless a caveat says otherwise.
Compared side by side
The Aurzen TravelPlay AutoCinema Screen for Tesla Model Y appears in this table next to models from other brands:
Who it's for
Parked movie nights in a 2025–2026 Model Y with the glass roof (campsites, long charging stops, tailgates), for owners who would buy a roof shade anyway. For watching while driving, the car's own rear screen or a tablet is the answer.
Caveats
- Needs a separate projector; Aurzen's MagPlay mount for rear-seat projection was still unavailable in the US store on 2026-10-28.
- For use while parked only.
- No owner reviews yet (0 on aurzen.com as of 2026-10-28; on sale since 2026-08-17).
- Best after dark: a 100–200 lumen projector washes out in a sunny cabin.
- Netflix and Disney+ need Aurzen's $129.99 CastPlay Pro with the ZIP.
- On 2020–2024 cars only roof mode works, and the rear panel leaves a gap at the back of the glass roof.
